Syria: Warnings ISIS may resurge
SDF commander: Activity by Daesh (IS) has increased significantly, and the danger of a resurgence has doubled.
What is happening now in Syria 鈥渋s paving the way鈥 for the Islamic State group to re-emerge. That鈥檚 according to a leading Kurdish commander who played a key role in defeating the group in Syria in 2019. General Mazloum Abdi told the 麻豆社 that IS activity has 鈥渋ncreased significantly鈥 and the danger of a resurgence has doubled. Our senior international correspondent Orla Guerin was given rare access to the largest IS jail - in the city of Al Hasakah.
