Putin calls up reservists
The Russian president plans to mobilise up to 300,000 reservists, in a move considered an escalation by the West.
President Putin says up to 300,000 military reservists are to be sent to Ukraine as part of a partial mobilisation of Russian forces. In a televised address to the nation, he said this was a necessary step to ensure Russian territorial integrity.
