World court acts to prevent Rohingya genocide

The ruling was made by the International Court of Justice in the Hague following a case brought by The Gambia. The decision comes despite Aun San Suu Kyi defending her country in person last month. Thousands of Rohingya died and more than 700,000 fled to Bangladesh during an army crackdown in 2017.
