Fresh Ukraine allegations against Trump

Trump 'knew exactly what was going on', former Giuliani aide Lev Parnas claims.

Lev Parnas, a former aide to Rudy Giuliani, Donald Trump's personal lawyer, has accused the president of lying about what he knew of his administration's dealings with Ukraine. Mr Parnas said the president knew that military aid would be withheld from Ukraine unless it investigated the former US vice-president Joe Biden. The interview came as the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Nancy Pelosi, signed the Articles of Impeachment. They were then taken to the Senate, where President Trump will be put on trial.

Also on the programme; following the shock resignation of the Russian government in the wake of President Putin's call for reform of the political system, Mikhail Mishustin is likely to be approved as the next Prime Minister. What do we know about him? And as the 麻豆社 launches its new series "Our Planet Matters" Sir David Attenborough warns that "the moment of crisis has come."
