India's deploys army as citizenship protests grow
There's been violent unrest in the Indian state of Assam, where protesters say their identity is threatened by legislation that would grant citizenship to some immigrants
Clashes are continuing between protesters and the police in the north-east Indian state of Assam, in unrest triggered by India's new citizenship bill.
The Citizenship Amendment Bill offers amnesty to non-Muslim illegal immigrants from three countries.
Also in the programme: The International Court of Justice begins hearing its final day of evidence in the case brought against Myanmar for the alleged genocide of its Rohingya Muslim minority; and a 25 million dollar settlement is reported to have been reached in a civil case brought by accusers of Harvey Weinstein.
