Facebook deliberately broke privacy and competition law and should urgently be subject to statutory regulation, according to a report from the UK's parliament, denouncing the company and its executives as 鈥渄igital gangsters鈥�.

Facebook has welcomed the digital select committee's report and said it would be open to "meaningful regulation".
