Yogita Limaye
Yogita was born in the city of Pune in west India. She has a degree in engineering and wrote software programs for a year before switching careers to journalism.
In 2006, she joined CNN IBN, a leading national news broadcaster, where she spent six years working in many roles.
Starting out as a junior producer in the newsroom in Delhi, she later moved to Mumbai, reporting on important political developments and presenting the channel's daily evening news broadcast.
In 2012, she joined the 麻豆社 News bureau in Mumbai as correspondent and presenter for India Business Report.
She regularly reports on the latest business news stories from India and has also covered key socio-economic issues such as food security, rural employment and poverty. She has interviewed several important personalities including the governor of India's central bank and the country's finance minister.
In addition to reporting on business and economics, Yogita has also covered other news stories from the country such as the northern Indian floods in 2013. She was also an integral part of the 麻豆社's news coverage on the issue of women's safety in India following incidents of gang rape in Delhi and Mumbai.
Watching movies and running are Yogita's favourite pastimes and she enjoys beach holidays.
