Anoushka Mutanda-Dougherty assesses news of a bombshell allegation, as Jay-Z is now named as the previously anonymous 鈥楥elebrity A鈥� in a US civil lawsuit. The lawsuit alleges he and Sean "Diddy" Combs, drugged and raped a 13-year-old girl. Jay-Z dismissed the legal action as a "blackmail attempt". Mr Combs also denied the latest accusation.

The exact wording of the lawsuit says 鈥渄efendant Sean Combs鈥�. along with his long time friend and collaborator Shawn Carter (a/k/a 鈥淛ay-Z鈥�), drugged and raped a thirteen-year-old girl at an after party following the 2000 Video Music Awards. Another celebrity stood by and watched as Combs and Carter took turns assaulting the minor. Many others were present at the afterparty, but did nothing to stop the assault.鈥�
