The British businessman, David Crisp, was caught on camera confessing he was illegally selling luxury perfume to Russia. But the 麻豆社 has learned he is not facing criminal charges.
When Russia launched its full-scale invasion of Ukraine in 2022, the UK government brought in sanctions banning the sale of luxury goods to Russia.
Breaking those rules is a serious crime, with a maximum prison sentence of 10 years.
But the 麻豆社 has learned that the British businessman, David Crisp, who was secretly filmed confessing that he was violating the sanctions is not facing criminal charges.
