My name is Patrick and at some point in the future, you know, I'd love to live in America. I'd love to live in New York. I really would just like to travel the world, but particularly I'd love to go to America and maybe work in a hotel. I think I'd really like to work in that kind of industry maybe. I don't know, even work as a porter or whatever. Just getting out, kind of, you know, meeting people. I'm not afraid of hard work so eventually, you know, I'd like to make a few, make few pounds if I can, and that's what I'd like to do. I'd like to see the world.
Why America specifically?
I just love America, particularly New York. Don't know why, I've just seen so many films you know, based in New York and I've always just really fancied going there, always really, really fancied New York. And I love the Marvel films as well, so again, it'd be lovely to go to America just to see where they were filmed. You know, I'd love to actually go and stand there and see it, you know, in the flesh as it were. Also, I love the American food.
What's the first thing you would do once you got to New York?
That's a good question. I think I'd go see the Statue of Liberty. I think that'd be the first thing I'd do. But really, just walk around and take it all in. That's a really difficult question. I don't know what I'd do first.
What do you think travelling there would give you?
I mean, ideally I'd like to live there, I'd like to work there, get my own flat. I'd say maybe work in a hotel.
What might the challenges be?
I don't think it'd be easy. I'm not the best of flyers, so that'd be the first issue. Also just thinking of other challenges, mean, you know, at the minute America's probably not the best place with everything that's going on. So I think it might be a difficult place to live. And of course, it's an expensive place to live as well.
So how are you going to fulfil your travel kick then, do you think?
My initial thing would just be to go to America. That's always been on my bucket list. So just to travel all across America. If I did that, I'd be happy.
