Hospital Chaplain has bike stolen
He spends countless hours every week, supporting people about to lose loved ones, or people unwell and needing someone to talk to, often at their darkest hours.
On-call chaplain, Reverend Doctor David Southall, works across hospitals in Worcestershire including The Royal in Worcester and The Alexandra Hospital in Redditch, and uses his motorbike to navigate between locations. He says his Honda Deauville has picked up 40,000 miles over the past 15 years.
He's been telling our reporter Tom Edwards how he's 'gutted' after his bike was stolen from his driveway, and has since been found as a write-off, vandalised in a field near Ronkswood, meaning it will take significantly longer to reach people who need him.
The theft happened in Staplow Road. West Mercia Police are investigating, and say anyone with any information should call 101.
