Coventry Council tax may rise
The City Council budget shortfall works out to more than 10% of its overall budget, and equates to 拢85 per person. Coventry City Council have also revealed that their core spending power is below the national average. Councillor Richard Brown, cabinet member for Strategic Finance and Resources, told 麻豆社 CWR's Phil Upton that he can't see any other way to break the shortfall than council tax rising.
