Southsea's 'forgotten' author and aircraft designer
Going behind a blue plaque in Portsmouth commemorating engineer-turned-author Nevil Shute Norway.
Behind the blue plaque on the front of 14 Helena Road in Southsea is a story of engineering ingenuity, wartime heroics, bestselling books and hit movies.
They were all created by former Southsea resident, Nevil Shute Norway, who鈥檚 almost completely forgotten in the city he called home.
