What are the signs of an AI generated fake news video?

This week is pension awareness week, so we're making sure people are aware of a current problem with AI generated videos that may contain misleading information about UK pensions. These videos have had tens of thousands of views, but often contain mistakes and misleading claims such as 'pension increases' and age changes. Finance expert Iona Bain explains how to spot a fake video, and the best sources to get quality information from.

The Morning Live team reported some of these AI generated videos from a few different accounts that were spreading misleading information.
YouTube came back to us to say that scams and other deceptive practices that try to take advantage of people are not allowed on its platform, and that it uses machine learning technology and a team of thousands to enforce its policies.
It told us that all of the videos we shared with the YouTube team were quickly removed - including the video clip we showed you here.
It added that a number of the channels were also permanently terminated, and those uploaders are not allowed to create new YouTube channels.
