The cinema modelled after sex, money and greed

The Longford and Essoldo Cinema was purposely built in 1936, and was a hub for the community in Stretford.

Henry F Elder was an architect from Salford who designed the cinema, and it was modelled after what he thought of the 1930's film industry.
