How lantern fish become invisible
Edie Widder tells presenter Caroline how lantern fish use a technique called counter illumination to become virtually invisible. By matching the lights on their belly with the little bit of sunlight coming from above, they perfectly blend in to hide from predators. But lantern fish are not the only ones using light in the deep sea!
