Warwickshire GAA Hurling Manager on reaction to All-Ireland Senior Hurling final

Part of the sporting history in Coventry, Warwickshire and the wider West Midlands, for over 100 years, the sport is played locally under the Warwickshire GAA. The game between Clare against Cork introduced thousands of new viewers to the sport in the UK when it was aired on Sunday 21 July. Clare came out victorious with a dramatic one-point win in extra-time at Croke Park to clinch the Liam McCarthy Cup for the first time since 2013.

Tony Joyce, is the county hurling manager for Warwickshire, and also manages the team at St Finbarr's GAA in Coventry.

Speaking about the amateur sport with 麻豆社 CWR's Rob Gurney, he says the exposure for the sport has been "fantastic" and that people have been "amazed at the intensity, the speed and he passion."
