The long wait for an ADHD diagnosis
Our health correspondent has been investigating how long adults are waiting to be seen for suspected ADHD - and went to meet some of those affected.
The 麻豆社's health correspondent, Catherine Burns, has been investigating how long adults are waiting to be assessed to see if they have ADHD. She's gathered data from NHS trusts and health boards across the UK, which suggests that if nothing changes, it will take 8 years and 5 months to see everyone on a waiting list.
For this episode of 5 Minutes On, Catherine went to Sheffield to meet Nelly, Rob, Katie and Louise - a group of strangers who have one thing in common - they all wanted to be seen here for suspected ADHD.
