Are online estate agents actually free to use?
Buying and selling your home can be a stressful experience, particularly with recent rising prices and mortgage rates. One way homeowners have tried to claw back on some of the costs is using online estate agents, such as Purple Bricks, which claims it's free-to-use. But presenter Holly Hamilton investigates how some customers are being upsold premium packages costing up to £1,500, and seemingly getting very little for their money. She meets the customers who couldn’t get hold of their estate agents and ended up with bills of thousands of pounds.
