Lincoln city centre roadworks 'a nightmare'
Work to improve a major road through the centre of Lincoln has led to traffic problems described as 'a nightmare' by people caught up in it.
The roadworks on Newland, which are expected to last for seven months, involve repairing and surfacing the road and footpaths and replacing traffic lights at two junctions.
Lincolnshire county council says the work is essential and has asked people to leave extra time for their journeys.
