This week saw the 40th anniversary of the start of the Miners' Strike
It's hard to imagine that four decades ago many people were hoarding coal and bracing themselves for what became a long and bitter year of action.
The miners' strike of 1984 was one of the most hard-fought industrial disputes ever seen.
One miner who worked through the strike was Barry Smallwood at Baddesley Colliery in Warwickshire.
He spoke to 麻豆社 CWR's Sally Johnson.
