Malvern author's 'bucket list' debut novel
Located in the picturesque town of Malvern, songwriter turned author A W Lindahl treats us to the story behind her debut novel.
Described as a bucket list project, it was in fact another bucket list moment that led to the publication. It was through the generosity of her son and his partner, who gifted her a dream trip to Nashville as a birthday present, that Anna's aspirations began to crystallise.
Embracing the vibrant music scene in Nashville, A W Lindahl, better known as Anna Watts, immersed herself in its scene going on to perform at one of their open mic nights. It was during this memorable trip that Anna stumbled upon a book that served as the catalyst for her own literary voyage, igniting her imagination and fuelling her desire to share her own narrative.
Singing For Supper, A Buskers Tale takes us to Greece, Australia and the USA armed with nothing but a guitar and her voice.
