âThey forget all about usâ: Socceroos coach Graham Arnold calls for more support
Socceroos head coach on whatâs got to change, Ange Postecoglou and the impact of family
Australia menâs head coach Graham Arnold says the countryâs leaders âdonât want to listenâ on ways to progress football in Australia, despite the success of the countryâs national football teams.
The Matildasâ finished fourth â their highest-ever World Cup finish â at the 2023 Womenâs World Cup, co-hosted in Australia, nine months after The Socceroos reached the last-16 for only the second time in the history of the Menâs World Cup.
Arnold tells Sportsworldâs Mani Djazmi why he doesnât think the teamsâ successes will lead to change in Australia despite the âhopeâ of the nation.
The Socceroos coach also reveals why heâs ânot surprisedâ by the start fellow Australian Ange Postecoglou has made as Tottenham Hotspur manager, and also talks about the impact of family.
