The Director of the film 'Bend It Like Beckham' is one of 10 film luminaries being celebrated in a new 'Walk of Fame'.

Gurinder Chadha's 'Bend It Like Beckham' became the highest-grossing sports film to focus on football, telling the story of a British-Indian teenager who falls in love with the game, while exploring themes of immigration, race, religion and sexuality.

The 'Walk of Fame' on London's south bank features some leading lights of the industry who have been able to achieve extraordinary things in British Film.
