Hammond Arboretum in Market Harborough opens up
As part of the National garden Scheme, somewhere very special is opening up, and has a fascinating story behind it.
This weekend, The Hammond Arboretum is opening up and is home to many unusual plants, trees and shrubs.
Hammond Arboretum dates back to the early 1900's when Francis Hammond, headmaster of Market Harborough County Grammar School acquired a piece of land behind his school house garden.
He acquired more land a few years later and today you can visit Hammond Arboretum.
Edmond Brown is a volunteer there and joined Ben Jackson to tell him more.
