What to do if you have a fear of spiders with Dr. Oscar Duke
In a recent survey, up to 39% of Britons admitted to being scared of spiders, and now with their mating season in full swing, 8 legged invaders are literally crawling out of the woodwork in homes across the country. Dr. Oscar joins us to look at the science behind why so many people are afraid, and techniques that people who fear spiders can try in order to reduce the panic. Entomologist, Dee Patel, joined us via Zoom to explain why there are so many spiders in September and what we could do to prevent them coming into our homes. Note - peppermint oil and conkers aren't suitable if you have pets.
