This episode of the pod comes from down under, as Juliette Ferrington goes behind the scenes at one of England’s many media days to get the lowdown on how the players are feeling ahead of the World Cup, starting on Thursday.

Former England goalkeeper, Karen Bardsley joins the pod from Sydney and lets us in on how she has been coping with the jetlag (it involves a lot of Crossfit) and how the country is really embracing the tournament.

They hear from some of the biggest names from inside the Lionesses camp – including captain Millie Bright, right-back Lucy Bronze, striker Chloe Kelly and goalkeeper Mary Earps – who all tell Jules what they have been doing since they arrived in Brisbane (Koalas and whales get a mention) and how the nerves are holding up ahead of their opening game against Haiti on Saturday.

And with the World Cup only a few days away that can only mean one thing…. Prediction time! So Karen can’t escape those all important questions.
