British Chess Championships to come to Leicester
The British Chess Championships are set to come to Leicester for the first time in more than 60 years.
Chess players from all over the world will be at Leicester's De Montfort University later this month between Friday 21st July and Sunday 30th July.
There will be a number of community events taking place over the city. In addition there will be a number of social chess events taking place, mostly in the evenings.
Ben Jackson talks to Nigel Towers, the organiser of the British Chess Championships, and Paul Mottram from Leicestershire and Rutland Chess Association.
