Hot weather leads to fish death in River Soar

Efforts are underway to improve the quality of waterway throughout Leicestershire after a rise in the number of fish dying in the River Soar.

The unseasonal hot weather has caused oxygen levels to drop in the River Soar severely affecting the quality of the water.
