ADHD Undercover: How I Was Misdiagnosed

A 麻豆社 Panorama investigation finds how some private clinics in the UK are offering an ADHD diagnosis using quick-fire questions over video chat in as a little as 45 minutes.

More people are trying to get help from the NHS because they think they might have Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). It's a lifelong condition with symptoms including inattentiveness, hyperactivity and impulsiveness. But waiting times for an ADHD assessment on the NHS have risen, in some areas, to more than five years.

In this episode of 5 Minutes On, 麻豆社 reporter Rory Carson goes undercover for Panorama to investigate how some private clinics in the UK are diagnosing ADHD.

There's more on this story in the 麻豆社 Panorama documentary 'Private ADHD Clinics Exposed' on 麻豆社 iPlayer.
