Lives on the line: We hear from those who are impacted by HS2
All this week on CWR we're re-visiting our on-going series into the construction of High Speed 2 through Warwickshire.
It's called "Lives On The Line" and takes a look at what it's like to live near the construction of HS2, even through it'll be 2029 at the earliest before trains start actually running.
This week, a conference takes place where businesses and councils in the region will pile pressure on the government to commit to the HS2 project.
Maria Manchancoses is the chief executive of Midlands Connect - which promotes better rail links in the region.
Phil spoke with Maria this morning about what she wants from the Government regarding the construction of HS2.
