The newly planted trees at Sowe Common in Coventry have been saved, thanks to the help of four local residents.

The Coventry park rangers received reports that some of the trees had been pulled out.

Before they had chance to go down and have a look, four local residents had already taken it upon themselves to plant the trees back in.
