LTB Showrooms: the derelict building that became a thriving art space
In July 2021 Coventry man Alan Denyer opened the LTB, an arts space above the Litten Tree Pub - spending 拢10,000 of his own money to refurbish the space, which had been home to only pigeons for decades.
The LTB art space above the Litten Tree pub has had over 12,000 visitors to the 120 events they've put on, 600 local creatives have been supported with free space. Sadly the LTB will be running it's last show on the 18th February as the pub closes, along with many other business in that area, to make way for the City Centre South development, despite demolition not beginning until late 2024. Our Creative Lives Producer Rachel New went down to the Showrooms to meet some of the people who have exhibited in the space, including Becca whose near-death experience led to a powerful art exhibition and great-grandfather David, who makes art from old stamps.
