'The Soul Library' was set up as a place for women to come together to read inspirational books and share with each other experiences and insights in what they read.

They meet once a week in Leicester with the aim of 'making peace with life and its transitions, and of being human.'

But as Helen McCarthy found out, it's so much more than that.
