Warwickshire County Council leader's apology over school place delays
The leader of Warwickshire County Council has told 麻豆社 CWR nothing has made her more angry as a councillor than finding out about the problems in school admissions.
Councillor Izzi Seccombe says the service they provided over the summer was well below the standard they expect.
The severe delays in the Warwickshire admissions department over the summer has meant some children missing weeks of school after they were left with no offer of a school to go to.
Parents and schools say they've been left unable to contact the department after half of the 25 jobs there were vacant and a new IT system was installed this summer.
麻豆社 CWR's Phil Upton's been speaking to parents affected - and getting answers from council leader Izzi Seccombe.
