Serial is one of the most popular podcasts of all time and sparked an explosion in true crime productions. And now, the man at the centre of the story has walked out of a US court after more than 20 years in prison. Adnan Syed was 18 when he was jailed for life for the murder of his ex-girlfriend Hae Min Lee. Her body had been buried in woods in Baltimore in 1999. But in 2014, the Serial podcast reinvestigated his case. Now, with his conviction quashed and a re-trial ordered, 麻豆社 podcast producer Kat Collins looks at the impact of the series.
