After more than 600 fish were saved from a lake in Kenilworth, a Councillor's calling for a long term plan to protect them in future.
Hundreds of fish died in Abbey Fields when water levels dropped in the heatwave. Local people even clubbed together to buy a tanker of water to try to top up the levels.
But now many of the fish have been taken to safety at the nearby Lavender Hall Fishery.
