Asamoah Gyan eyes shock return to Ghana squad for World Cup
Ghana legend Asamoah Gyan has told Sport Today he's still hoping to make a shock return to the Black Stars squad for this year's World Cup.
The 36 year-old is on an 8 week training programme to get fit in time to be considered for selection.
If he does make it to the World Cup he'll have the chance to get revenge over Uruguay after he missed a late penalty against them in the final minute of the Quarter-Final at the 2010 tournament. Ghana play Uruguay in the group stage in Qatar.
Gyan’s been speaking to Â鶹Éç Sport’s John Bennett.
