The magic of Glastonbury

The 麻豆社's Music Correspondent, Mark Savage, and Radio 6 Music's Matt Everitt share some personal anecdotes as they head down Glasto memory lane.

Fans are descending on Glastonbury Festival for the first time in three years. Despite the ongoing travel chaos across the country, more than 200,000 festival-goers will arrive at Worthy Farm in Somerset for the event, headlined by Billie Eilish, Sir Paul McCartney and Kendrick Lamar. Organisers Michael and Emily Eavis were there to greet festival-goers, many of whom had queued outside since Tuesday, as the gates opened. Emily said it had been quite an "emotional" morning, after the pandemic put paid to the event for the past two years. And for that reason, it's set to be one of the most enjoyable and emotional years in the event's mammoth history - a history with countless highlights. For 5 Minutes On, the 麻豆社's Music Correspondent, Mark Savage, and Radio 6 Music's Matt Everitt share some wonderful anecdotes as they head down Glasto memory lane.
