Besides facing stigma and discrimination in the community, pregnant, disabled women often endure unfriendly healthcare providers and structural challenges such as lack of wheel chair ramps and special delivery beds. A combination of factors make their pregnancies and delivery risky and sometimes fatal. Josephine Mwende, a cerebral palsy patient, spoke to the 麻豆社's Mercy Kandie on her journey to motherhood.
