Why haven鈥檛 most African countries created policies around egg donation?
The Egg Donation Market was valued at over $1 billion in 2020. The global market insights estimate that the sector is expected to grow by 19% by the year 2027. While many in the developed world have embraced egg donation, fertility treatments are still frowned upon by many Africans. Eve Masawi spoke to 35-year-old Pumla Nabachwa from Uganda a regular egg donor, she shares her experience.
