Cat makes 275-mile trip from Wales to Essex
Ashley the cat went missing from her home in north Wales, only to turn up a week later, 275 miles away in Tilbury, Essex.
Her owner, Dan Worsley, says he'd had the whole village of Glan Conwy out looking for Ashley, put posters up and spread the word on social media, but to no avail.
But then Ashley was discovered in a garage in Tilbury by a dog called Bobby, who alerted his owner. Word then spread to a 25,000-strong Facebook group called Pippa's Army, which then got in touch with Dan to say that Ashley had been found.
Ashley is now back home in Wales after Dan drove the 550-mile round trip to bring her back.
麻豆社 Essex speaks to Dan about Ashley's adventures, giving him the chance to say thank you to the owner of Bobby who found Ashley in the garage, and also to Karen, who volunteers at Pippa's Army and was the person who phoned Dan to give him the good news.
