Exclusive: Camilla pledges to continue work against domestic violence as Queen Consort
In an exclusive interview, the Duchess of Cornwall has told the 麻豆社 that she will continue to support victims and survivors of domestic violence once she becomes Queen Consort.
Speaking to Emma Barnett for Woman鈥檚 Hour on 麻豆社 Radio 4 and 麻豆社 Breakfast, Camilla said that the Queen鈥檚 wish for her to be known as Queen Consort in the future represented a 鈥済reat honour鈥 and that it would help to highlight the work of the causes she supports.
The duchess was speaking at Clarence House as she was reunited with Diana Parkes, whose daughter Joanna Simpson was killed by her estranged husband in 2010, and whose story Camilla credits with inspiring her to support victims and survivors of domestic abuse.
