Mad Professor was born in Guyana. He acquired his nickname as a child due to his fascination with electronics, and when he moved to London he collected mixing and recording equipment to make his first studio in his living room. Since then he鈥檚 released hundreds of recordings, worked with the likes of Lee 鈥淪cratch鈥 Perry, Sly & Robbie, Grace Jones, Massive Attack, and Sade, as well as setting up the largest black-owned studio complex in the UK.
