Finland face ROC in the men's gold medal ice hockey match at the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing.

The Finns have been one of the most consistent sides in men’s hockey in the last three decades, having claimed five medals at the last seven Olympics – soon to become six in eight. However, they have never won gold, with their two previous finals both ending in defeats (versus the Soviet Union in 1988 and against Sweden in 2006). They will face reigning champions the Russian Olympic Committee in the final. The Finns will be hoping for a repeat of their famous upset at the 2014 Olympics, when they beat the hosts 3-1 in Sochi at the quarter-final stage.
