Leicester鈥檚 Director of Public Health says the Government has confirmed that new advice published on its website suggesting that additional restrictions were to be put in place for Leicester, was incorrect.

Details were announced on a Whitehall website last Friday, but councils in the areas affected say they weren't consulted.

Leicester's director of public health, professor Ivan Browne has been meeting ministers this afternoon.
