Resignation Syndrome is a mysterious illness that can affect child refugees seeking asylum in Sweden. The children stop talking and walking, and eventually cease to open their eyes. Some 'sleep' for up to a year and a half.

Consultant neurologist Suzanne O鈥橲ullivan travelled to Sweden to investigate what was happening.
