It's time to "start a conversation" about miscarriage.
It's time to "start a conversation" about miscarriage. Those are the words of the 2018 Commonwealth gold medallist Chelsea Pitman. The Australian born England international Chelsea Pitman suffered two miscarriages and an ectopic pregnancy - where an egg implants in a fallopian tube rather than the womb - in the past two years. Pitman who plays her club netball in Australia, had a miscarriage on international duty in England during the 2020 Netball Nations Cup. Following her return to Australia in September, Pitman left Super Netball side Adelaide Thunder - where she had been co-captain - after not being offered a new contract.
