In the last year, social media manipulation campaigns have been recorded in 81 countries and most of the countries involved have deployed disinformation campaigns.

Dr Samantha Bradshaw, who authored a media manipulation report by the Oxford Internet Institute, explains why these campaigns are a growing threat to democracies.
