Coronavirus mutation: EU considering position on travel bans from the UK
Flights from the UK have now been suspended to more than 30 countries, including Germany, Italy, Belgium, Turkey, Russia and Canada, because of concerns at the spread of a new variant of coronavirus.
麻豆社 correspondent Gavin Lee explains how the EU are weighing up their options and may insist on more "rapid testing" so that the threat can be assessed, and the challenges to agreeing a unified approach.
